Starting Problem Glow Plug

1983 6.2L I turn the key to the on position and all my normal indicators come on except for my glow plug light. I can normally hear something clicking each time my glow plug light goes on and off and tonight that did not happen. It is strange because I drove to work and it was working fine and then I come out when I get off and nothing! Help Me

I'm new at this, but the GM Diesel manual suggests checking the pink wire between the ignition switch and fuse block. (if no click is heard) Might be worthwhile to see if there's voltage at the relay (glow-plug side when your sure there should be voltage)... There's also a coolant temperature switch... more details on the circumstances would probably help.
