Hi
I have a small ac leak at the joint on my rear AC line. It will leak down to the point that the low pressure switch won't let the ac come on in a couple of days. I found it using a flouresent leak kit. It is the one right below the floor on the rear just before it goes through the floorboard. Its in a tight place to get two large wrenches on it and get any kind of leverage.
Should I try soaking it for a few days with some type of penetrating oil?
I am afraid to heat it as it is aluminum and would probably melt the o-ring in there. I can get wrenches on it but it only seems to want to twist the nut made on the tube part and I dont want to break it off and have to buy new stuff if possible. Any tips or tricks?
