rough running

Just put in a new rebuilt 6.5 in truck ...timming is all set correctly to that new Engh program. starts to run rough around 1,000 to 1,200 rpms and then
smooths out again to around 2,000 rpms and runs rough. from a fast start sounds really rough until it hits third gear and then smooths out again..have no clue on whats going on here, has the low 18 to 1 compression engine here.

What about the Inj Pump and injectors?

the injectors been just rebuilt,and the pump was a 1999 newer style pump which worked great before new engine.

Take a look at timing counts for the Optic Sensor - hi-res and cam - and Crank Position Sensor.

Check the Desired and Measured Inj timing for tracking within couple degrees

Make sure the grounds and stuff are good, the OS and CPS sensors are fully connected and the FS ground wire is still on the Inj Pump

do not know what optic sensor is....checked the injectors...all good..doublecheked timming to a tech 11...all timing still good to dsg gear drive...noticed on 50 degreeday that that # 6 cylinder pops when warming up ..smokes really bad..hard to believe the heads are bad. enine just has a miss and it sounds so much like its out of time.. just got me not knowing whats wrong...next step is only acompression check and then finish taking off pump to get tested.

Ok, start it, scan it, write down all the numbers except transmission data, post your results here, lessee if we can figger it out

rechecked out pump..good,although had to replace harness..checked out
injectors all good,,did find broken oil sensor replaced...checked out pump timming on engine to the gears...good...finaly replaced crankshaft sensor
and this did help alot. not sure what exactly what it was..but engine does run considerably better.but still has a very slight miss..alternator went out
sunday night after 200,000 miles..not replaced yet.smokes alot yet not sure why..set the timming to retardation more seemed to run better there.
