Diameter of the stock dual exhaust system?

Can anyone tell me the diameter (ID or OD) of the stock dual exhaust on a 80's 6.2L truck? It's a CUCV if that matters any.

2.25" exhaust, usually 2" tail - depends on whether oem or later a\m replacement

Hrm, mine looks like 2.25 OD" all the way out.

I was wrong. Got under there and measured and it looks like, on the CUCV's at least, 2.5" all the way.


I found a set of Cherry Bombs that are the perfect length and offset to slip right in...:D
