View Full Version : fs2500 bypass oil filter
As a long time lurker I will now jump in and ask a question.
I have seen this filter, the fs 2500, advertised in the diesel mags and wondered if anyone has had experience with it.
What bypass filter is the one of choice for the folks here on the board?

Welcome to the board!
The video I've seen for the FS2500 is pretty impressive.
The Diesel Page (though not me personally) has produced a couple of reviews on the Amsoil version in the past 10 years. Gotta install it (or any other) correctly to avoid leaks. Extra filtration would make the most sense for those who own the same truck for a long period of time or if you drive lots of miles per year. Could make the same case for synthetic oil. :)

Thanks Jim. I am running Mobile 1 and have been for the last 40,000 miles. So far I have been changing when the oil life meter says to.Seems to be about 12,500 miles or so.I think I will look at the bypass filters a little more.
