Just started under normal acceleration no problem but when I got on the gas best way to describe it felt like itb was bogging down. Truck want go asked buddy he said try opening drain cock on fuel filter didn't help.

Change your filters (air and fuel) and try again. Is the SES lamp on? Any smoke? What year/engine?

its a 2004 and no the ses lamp is not on. There is no smoke. Vehicle has 55,000miles and I have never changed fuel filter.

I answered your PM. Change that filter ASAP. It'll probably cure your problem, and then some.

dont let the dealer know u went 55000 miles on a fuel filter....that could lead to voided warranty work on injectors ! !

Must be one of the early single pleat units if it went that long. Change it ASAP and at a minimum every 15,000 miles. The new filters are much better and load much quicker.

I'd bet yours is well past 6" hg at idle...
