Noticed an increase in wind noise over the last year or so. In checking this out, I notice the driver's door has about 1/2 inch of vertical movement at the door handle end when open and you can see the movement in the hinge pins and bushing area. Any relatively easy way to change them out? I've done this in the past on a GMC van and it was not a pleasant experience. Too bad the hinges are not bolted on!
Thanks,
Chris

Click here (http://www.andyz28.com/truck/99truck/intro.htm) for a guy who offers replacement door hinge components for the 1999+ trucks that are grease-able and should last far longer than the stock components. We actually did a story about these parts in 2003. The sample parts I examined looked to be quality stuff. :)

I'll give this a try. Sure looks a lot easier/cheaper than the factory way. The wonders of the internet....you gotta love it.
