I have the "heavy duty" intake already. Is this one even better? Will it be a direct swap?

This intake is for a non-turbo 6.2 humvee.

Not a performance upgrade for your engine though.

It is an improvement if you've got an EGR equipped 6.2 and upgrade to this style intake. The only caveat is that the studs to attach the air cleaner are 180 degrees from where they are on a "civilian" intake.

Thanks for quick reply. Glad I asked.

I have a HUMVEE outfit near my home in the Greenville SC area. I've been wondering if any of their specialty parts or service would help me out. Guess it would help if I traded my K2500 in for a H1.

thanks again,

I picked up one of those for my project as they are an inch or so shorter than the non-Hummer version and I was worried about hood clearance. I paid about $35 for mine.
