M1009 Gen1 light

Hi, new to the board, just bought an M1009 w/ 38k miles and drove 100 miles home:D . While it was a blast, I did notice that the Gen 1 light will come on when I use a flasher, wipers, brake lights etc. If I goose the accelerator it goes out. I have been told maybe it could be the Battery cables. The other thing is that once in a while when I start the truck I get a clunk and it won't start. If I let it sit and try again, it kicks over. This is a brand new starter. Any thoughts?I

the gen lights usually indicate a low voltage problem.

your situation sounds funky to me I bet you have a few bad wires in your harness someware that are messing with eachother.

thats why I hate lights I like to see the voltage see the temp see the oil pressure
