Allison Tramsmision Clunk

I have a 2003 Duramax w/ the allision automatic Trans. when I stop at a light & then let my foot off the break the trans Clunks, then everything is normal. I have 165000 miles on the truck & it is always hyway driven. Maybe someone can help???? PLEASE...

Sounds like you need to lube the tailshaft slip yoke. Pull the shaft out of the x case and put grease on the inside of the splines of the drive shaft.

Ever replace u-joints on the driveshaft? I have done both my trucks with lower miles than yours. They both 'clunked'.
