I got an Injection pump off Ebay for 76.00 . I really want to experiment with the FSD on it. The seller said it is for a vehicle with an F as the 8th VIN digit, my truck has an S in the eight digit. Anyone know the difference ??? WOuld this pump work for me ???

No difference in FSD modules - only chronologically.
30214 = 94 - 97
34264 = 97 - 98
34583 = 99 - ??

IP has date coded label - you get a date code with a newer than that date FSD, it is a replacement

Good luck

Thanks JD. I didnt know if the pumps were calibrated for the different motor configurations or not.

The FIPump may well be calibrated a little differently. The FSD/PMD is "dumb"-it's a glorified relay that tells the fuel solenoid valve in the pump to do what the PCM says.
