are there better options for exhaust manifolds and exhaust system than the stock set up for a 83 6.2 with 109k miles on it ? or am i better off leaving that stock for more back pressure?

Stan's headers makes headers for the 6.2, kinda pricey (close to 500 I think for chrome), but i would imagine it would free up some airflow, plus bigger pipes and free flowing mufflers

IIRC, the Hummer manifolds are a tubular style, kinda like a header. I see them on Ebay every once in a while.

Stan's Headers are the only available for the 6.2L. I wouldn't spend the money for them. Instead, I'd put the money towards a turbo system.

Hummer headers are probably better than stock, but not equal-length. They probably won't fit in the GM truck frames very well.
