new 6.5 owner glow plug question

does anyone have an answer as to why my glow plug light continues to flash intermittently after the initial warm up period? The guy I bought the rig off of had the glow plugs replaced right before I got it, and I have the paperwork proving it. I don't remember it happening for the first few days or week after getting the rig home. I usually only does upon cold start up. Once I've been driving around and go to re-start it just goes back to the initial warm up light.

It's normal. My 95 does the same thing. Mine gives up to 3 (or more?)additional "boosts" on a cold start up. It certainly helps the engine get smoothed out quicker.

Yeh, it's reffered to as "after-glow" and is completely normal.
