Army Mech needs Help!

Hello, I am an Army Mechanic currently stationed in Iraq. We are having problems with one of our M1114 (up-armored hummvee with 6.5) It keeps blowing oil filter o-rings. Anybody ever have this happen to them??? Any help would be apreciated.

Have you checked the oil pressure to make sure the relief valve is not stuck.
If the relief is stuck it will blow by for sure.

Oil pressure should be about 40-50 running and 10-20 at idle.

A stuck relief could send the pressure soaring and be the cause of your issue

And, if the oil cooler or lines are plugged\crushed, pump oil will bypass directly into the filter - might check that, also
