Check engine light

Last night while out doing some x-mas shopping my check engine light came on. I drove for 10 min or so to the next store and was in there for 10 min or so and off to the next with the light still on. Was in the that store for a little longer came out went to my final stop with the light still on. Was in that store for an hour ish came out to go home and no light was on. All through this my truck never seemed to run or act any different than it always does any ideas????

Not much a guy can do but guess without knowing which DTC was set. Have you done any mods to the truck like exhaust? Could just be an emissions (EGR) code by the sounds of it.

Truck is stock. It is in at the dealership so we will see if they find anything. Thanks for getting back to me.
