Anyone here ever tried Hard Blok or others in thier 6.5 build ?

At least in my old race motors ( gas big block chevys) It would help keep everything in place and stiffen up and make the blocks alot stronger.

There were seemingly no drawbacks.

These were street driven motors not just track only, but never had to tow a trailer 1000 miles with them either.

How much cooling happens at the bottom of the block ?

I was thinking of filling one up to the bottom of the freeze plug holes.

Another member here is going to try this or a similar product in a 6.2/6.5 buildup for power.

Most of the heat is in the heads, but too much could cut circulation around cylinder walls down.

I think the benefit of a stiffer block out-weighs the slight loss of cooling capacity on the bottom of the block itself.
