I'm looking at buy some oil cooler lines to replace my leaking ones I have now. Only issue is that in 97 they came with 2 different sizes. Does anyone know how to verify the size without removing the lines. I use my truck daily and would need to buy the lines before doing any work and would hate to have to buy two sets.

Measure the OD of the aluminum tubing. Also, the larger lines use 1/2 pipe fittings in the block. The smarller lines use 3/8 pipe fittings. E-mail Greg at Lube Specialist. He'll help you get the right oil line set.

Get under the truck and measure the OD of the metal part of the line. We have complete sets ready to go. One other thing is you can have the 1/2" lines but still have the 1/2"npt thread in the block. Normally when you have 1/2" lines its a 3/8 npt thread in the block. You can also use a wrench on the oil cooler fitting to check size. 3/4 is 1/2" and 1-1/16 is 5/8" lines.

Ok Greg I'll check the line size with a wrench? What type of time are we looking at to get lines delivered to Canada once ordered?
