block heater location

I have a 97 6.5T. Ohmed out the heater via the plug and found it open. Can any one tell me where the block heater is located so I can check it or replace it? It got a little cold here last night (-31C).

drivers side middle soft plug if i remember correctly

Drivers side rear of radiator features a drain valve. It's plastic, 'pops' loose fr detente when turn CCW. But you will loose more coolent when remove old block-plug-heater. [GM included a block drain plug, but it ended up hidden behind the motor mounts].
