I located the shifter corrugated rubber boot, foam rubber insulator and mounting plate. I need a tip on the correct assembly order.

As far as I can make out, the corrugated boot must be the top most piece (obviously :D ) and the foam rubber insulator has a matching molding for the top of the shift tower, so it must go underneath. It's the plate I can't figure, it only has 4 holes in it, whereas the insulator and boot have six and can only be fitted one way (the insulator is marked "FRONT").

If memory serves me....... :( The trim plate goes under the bottom fold on top of the cover and foam piece. I am thinking ther were two sets of screws. One (four) in the plate and another set just in the rubber.

It should only look right in the correct position.......

First the hair, then the eyes, and then, ah, Oh hell I can't remeber what else!

Thanks! That's how I've assembled it so far, it looked wrong until I remembered the thickness of the insulation under the cab floor mat.
