I'd like to know what direction to take to reduce my burbs SWAY on windy days out side of tinkering w/alignment. I have only a frt/sway bar and suspension is in great shape and burb is stable except for windy conditions. Knowing full well the burbs side area affects this more, than not I'm thinking it can be reduced, but how is the ?

Good shocks (Bilstein) and a rear sway bar. Have a look at THIS (http://www.thedieselpageforums.com/tdpforum/showthread.php?t=23612) thread. Nothing will cure the profile and crosswind issue, but it will go a long way to make it bearable. Airbags are also very effective, and a good idea if you plan on heavy towing.

A sway bar works by weight transfer, if the sway is not of this type, ( IE weight leaning to 1 side ) the sway bar may only provide marginal improvement.

To 'Heavy ' a spring, when unloaded can cause sway,
The springs do not compress, therefore the weight is
suspended on the single top spring, the 'U' effect
of the spring makes it top heavy, and contributes to sway,
This can be tested by loading the rear and compressing the springs to see if conditions improve.
( note, worn bushings will agrevate this condition )

Air bags can make sway worse for this reason, keeps springs off of the helper springs,

If you notice a truck with the helper springs which
contact the frame mounted stops, will improve greatly
( sway) when the overloads are firmly in contact.

Also, oversize tires will cause sway, especially when
not aired to max, this is agrevated by oversize tires on
to narrow a rim.

Just some thoughts from my Truck Camper experience,
Hope some of it helps...
