Bought a set a couple of weeks ago. Cured several problems. No more "click" when turning left to right. Really tightened up front end. Cured wander. Of course it helped the "wallar" but I was surprised at the other improvements. Truck handles MUCH better than when I bought it. Keep in mind That my previous shocks were the original Bilsteins with 185,000 miles!

185k miles???
Wow... I thought I had a record setter when I bought my '95 at 140k and it had the original factory shocks on it.

What kind of wheels do you have? My Alcoas will creak almost like a bad CV joint if I don't torque them regularly.

Stock 8 lug chrome wheels off of an 03 or 04. It requires lots of work so my guess is they are torqued regularly! ;)

Did you buy your truck new? I find it hard to remember last week, much less than how my vehicle handled 180K miles ago.... ;)

Just wondering about the Monroe Reflex vs. Bilstein, which is "better". Thanks.

I bought with 120,000 miles and oversize wheels and tires. The shocks might have not been so bad except for the heavy aftermarket wheels and tires previously on the truck, which I am sure did the suspension no good.
