1994 Oil Pressure Switch

I recently changed the oil pressure switch (back of the intake manifold) as the old one had a crack in it and was reading a low oil pressure. I put the new one in and oil pressure is now fine. My question is, the oil pressure switch appears to be 90% plastic. Is there a pressure switch out there that is metal and can handle heat, vibration, etc better than the plastic version?

The large upper section on all of them is plastic. The part that scews into the block is metal and thats about it as far as whats available.
