I have my oil cooler lines off and am going to have the hose connections re-crimped with steel as someone suggested in another post. How reliable are the quick connect fittings at the engine side? I am considering going with a 90* angle and a compression fitting to eliminate these if they are a problem.
I am adding a Harvard 500L by-pass oil filter. The filter housing is large and needs to be mounted between frame rails. I took the oil pan off and braised in a return line fitting above the oil level line. I am looking for a place to tap in for a pressurized feed. The filter housing has an oriface to control the flow so it won't reduce pressure to the cooler by much if I tapped in there.
