Smoked a 'stroke last night

My buddy has a bone stock 2001 F250 crewcab with a 'stroke. Last night we ate at the same place before going bowling. We wound up stopping side by side at a red light, and yelled at him to see what that 'stroke got.

He launched slightly before me (I got caught napping when the light went green). Much to my amazement (and his) the old 6.5 actually reeled him in and passed him. I still had him by a bit before sanity prevailed and we lifted. Later he said he was flat to the floor the whole way.

I think my 4.11 gears had a lot to do with it, but I still walked a 'stroke HEE HEE!

i have not had any luck getting a stroke to race.
i have driven a few and i know i could take a stock one.
the one that finally does step up will probably have a ton of mods on it and eat my lunch. thats my luck.
Can your buddy still look you in the eye :D
