I'm putting a 6-7.5" superlift with 35x12.50 tires on my 07 2500HD. I was wonder what wheel width would best suit this and put the least amount of stress on my wheel bearings. Either an 8" wide wheel or 10"?

The wheel width doesn't matter as much as the backspace/offset. An 8" wheel should be 4-5/8", and a 10 should be 4-7/8" to 5-1/8". Check the clearance of the inside. Some wheels with some control arms contact. It's not much, and you may have to adjust the lock-stops (not much).

That said, a wider wheel will add stress on the hub to some degree. The hub/bearings are very durable, and you may not notice any difference at all. If you plan on "airing down" for sand driving, an 8" wheel is better. There is less chance of blowing a bead at lower pressure. Either wheels look good with 12.50's, unless you are after the deep-dish look (10").

I'm using 8". I had planned to go with the larger (10") until I talked to a 4x4 shop. They suggested the smaller wheel size. The arguement they gave was that the smaller wheel would put more pressure on the bead when aired down and less chance of losing the bead.
