I ruptured the aluminum elbow on the oil cooler return line.
The transmission lever was rubbing against the elbow which caused the failure at 1:00 am on the PA Turnpike in the middle of nowhere western PA. I have since cut out the bad section of aluminum and replaced with heater hose.

Q: Does anyone know where I can get the elbow new/used? The dealers claim that it is no longer a stcok item. I've checked all of the junkyards in my area.

In a P30 you'll have some luck calling Jamie out at The Diesel Depot.

They get 6.5 and 6.2 engines that sometimes come with the lines. They are basically Frito lay truck engines, but come with some nice steel braided lines, he has several sets that fit the engine/body style.

Their number is 478 552 9510
