Goodguys Announce 2007 Event Schedule
Pleasanton, CA - The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, the largest rod &custom association in the world with over 70,000 members, will stage 21events in 2007, including a brand new event in Chicago as well as a venuechange for the annual Great Lakes Nationals. The event lineup features 18"National" events, and 3 "Get-Together's" at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds. A brand new event, the 1st Peak Chicagoland Nationals, will be stagedSeptember 21-23 at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois marking thefirst time Goodguys have ever produced an event in the "Land of Lincoln."
Several milestone events are on the docket as well. The 25th All AmericanGet-Together, March 24 & 25 in Pleasanton will celebrate 25 years thisspring. The Goodguys PPG Nationals - the world's largest event for vehiclesthrough 1972 vintage will celebrate 10 years of Goodguys Goodtimes this July13-15 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus. The signature Northwestern USGoodguys event - the Pacific Northwest Nationals held in Puyallup,Washington will celebrate its 20th birthday the weekend of July 27-29 atthe Western Washington Fairgrounds.
The 18th Great Lakes Nationals, formerly held in Waukesha, Wisconsin willmove west to the gorgeous summer resort town of Madison, Wisconsin and willbe staged at the spacious Alliant Energy Center grounds the weekend ofAugust 17-19. In other news, Napa Auto Parts has signed on as the official Auto PartsStore of the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association. Napa will have a majorpresence at all 18 Goodguys Nationals events in 2007 with special at-eventmidway displays, special product giveaways as well as country-wide in storepromotions at participating locations.
