I'm considering these for my 98 K2500. I've done a search but haven't found anything yet.

Does anyone know the load rating of the H2 factory wheels? I'm assuming they are pretty high, but want to make sure they at least have the 16" load E range capacity, 3042lbs at 80 psi.

Thanks.

The H2 weighs about the same as a 6.5td burb so the factory H2 wheels would fit your needs. Keep in mind there are many aftermarket H2 look alikes cast and forged.

Yeah, if you're worried about weight, stay away from the forgeries!

Hmmm, I was thinking the factory H2 were cast? My other concern is are they rated for higher psi? I'm wanting to run 265/70/17s which will take 80 psi. I think the stock H2 tires acheive their max rating at 50 psi. Maybe I'm over analyzing?

I'm cautious because I have a nice set of Boyds I can't use anymore due to their 1800 lb rating...

Thanks.

H2's are rated at 8600 GVW I believe to pass emissions. I never looked when I mounted my H2 rims but I'd imagine they're at least 2500# each.

How would one discern a forgery from real H2 wheel?

Everything I've seen on hummer sites points to the H2 wheel being rated @ 2700+- lbs.
