6.2 Turbo muffler options

After 10 years my muffler and tail pipe have deteriorated, necessitating replacement. Before I put another Banks Dynaflow muffer on, I thought I'd check with the collective brain trust for alternate recommendations. The exhaust pipe out of the Banks turbo is 3", any advantage to transitioning to a 4" in/out muffler and tailpipe out of the 3" turbo exhaust pipe?

I transitioned to a 3.5 muffler and tailpipe on my banks system and I think it's too loud and so I'm looking to go to the banks muffler

Hello all,

Eric: I went the stock size 3" but did not use the muffler with my turbo. I like it and the wife likes the growl. It has a quiet murmer until you stand on it. If you have control (which i do not) it is easily tolerated however more power and the nice mellow tone are truely music to my ears.
