The engine caution light just went on after I filled my suburban up a few moments ago.
I read the owners manual which told to check that the fuel tank cap is securely closed. I did that and after a few new starts the light is still there.
Is this an indication of some sort of an problem??
Hopefully not since tomorrow morning I'm supposed to go onto a road trip of 500km.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

Thanks.

Just shooting in the dark , not sure of the or which warning lights are what -

? Check /drain the Fuel filter - possible water contamination? 'cause it came on with the new load of fuel...

That last one says "Water in Fuel" and if it's that, you probably have water in the fuel.
The MIL (SAE industry shorthand for Malfunction Indicator Light) says either Service Engine Soon (& is referred to herein on occasion as SES light) or Check Engine. Either of those (you only have one) means the same thing, i.e. there is a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) set that begs attention.
IIRC, mine's gotta Service Throttle Soon light n addition to MIL.
Can't say what the engine caution light is. If you could read it exactly we can probably help. You may need to get the DTCs read if it is the MIL.
