I have '93 P/U with 173k miles that is having some blowby going past the oil dipstick. I have already checked some things and am looking for some suggestions on what else to check out.
I had my compression checked. The readings ranged from 400-475.
I also had an oil analysis done to check and see if there was antifreeze in the oil from some type of crack in the heads or block.
The analysis came out great with no problems. (it even said that the oil was OK to stay in, after 3k mi. I had changed it anyway and will continue to do so)
It runs fine except for some smoke when it first starts up.
Any other ideas where to check?
I'll be searching the archives for other posts on this subject in the meantime.

Maybe the CDR valve which is the can on top of
the passenger valve cover.

Have a 92 that was pushing the dipstick up. Had a hole in the top of a piston. Ran for about 3000 miles that way until it got bad enough it sould hardly run. Supposedly the 6.5 are known for blowing pistons. Don't know for sure if that's what your problem is but that was mine.
