Should I do a diesel purge in my 6.2L

I was wondering if anyone has done a purge of their 6.2L. I have done it on my wife's diesel Mercedes and found it to run much better but I do not hear mention of anyone having done it to their 6.2L. Just wondering if the 6.2L should be purged every so often.:confused:

What did this purge consist of on the German rig?

Just curious, no, not much mention of it for the 6.2. Now, you are supposed to change your fuel filters!

Reference a site called Diesel giant.com. Seems like you could take the same approach as with the MB (i've got an 80 300sd). You could write the person who puts the diesel giant page together - he's relatively responsive and I'm sure he'll have suggestions.

Off topic: Are you making Biodiesel and running your 6.2 off it?
