Anyone know the part number for the updated vent assembly for a 9.25" frt irs/diff?

This vent is made to hold up to synthetic fluids.........

It's IFS, not irs................my sometimers getting the best here.

It's valid for 2001+, but you should have the same diff.

As long as you are already in there, it's probably a good idea to replace it with the updated connector. gmpartsdirect.com has it for $13.29, and GM list is $22.42.

That said, I've been using synthetic oil in my front ends with the old connector. No problems, leaks, or softening/hardening of the plastic. I use Amsoil synthetic lube, but other brands may have an effect on the old style plastic.
