You think thats a hot engine? As in stolen. Why would anyone cut the blue hose off when the clamp can be removed, unless they were in a big hurry??

A local auto recycling shop I visit as infrequently as possible pulls engines by unbolting the front engine mounts, chains the engine to a forklift, then gets a running start. All wires, hoses, hard lines and anything else that is connected to the engine or otherwise gets in the way is shredded as the hunk of iron is literally ripped out of the vehicle. I tried to explain to them how valuable the wiring harnesses are (one Dmax harness is $600+ all by itself), how valuable the accessories are, etc, but was told these good ole boys know best... :(
