The FIL just got back from a Vegas run and now his H1 is throwing codes. I went and read the codes for him and he is getting the P0251 and P0370, which both point to the optical sensor in the pump. Vehicle in question is a 2002, and it has 12K miles (yes only 12000).
My advice - dealer, as that should be covered under the pump warranty.
Have I ever told you what an underpowered turd I think it is? Even before it had the codes, it was horribly gutless. He said he barely got 10mpg on the trip to Vegas. He bought it for towing - I told him to go trade it on a new DMax.
I also introduced him to Power Service fuel additive. He knew nothing of the new ULSD fuel.
