New Transmission, How soon before installing HP upgrade

I had a new transmission installed about 3 months ago. I was wondering how long most people wait before installing any upgrades for additional power? I only have about 500 miles on the new transmission. I was thinking I should let it break in a little longer before installing any upgrades. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I would say your fine to reinstall your HP mods BUT give the TCM time to relearn how to deal with the extra TQ. The early trucks learned slower so feed the hp in stages if your going to run it with 90 hp all the time set it to 90 just dont take it out a flog it hard at first. The TCM adapts line presure and shift paterns based on how much it slips on up and down shifts during a spec amount of time.
