Interior lights not working.

Has anyone experienced problems with their interior lights.
Mine are not working when the doors are opened, checked the fuses and they look fine.
Any ideas of what to check next?

Check to see which position the little "bypass" button is in. It is the round button on the light switch. It controls whether or not you want the interior lights to come on. If not that, could be a faulty switch. Mine has been replaced twice on my 98.

I've had to replace a couple of the door switches - the little black plunger thingys - last time I bought some they were a $1 or $2 item at the dealer.

Checked the by-pass button but no luck.
Tried to turn the interior lights on by rotating the dimmer control but also no luck.
Looks like I might be up for a new switch, how hard is it to change Dale S ? looks like the dash has to come out.

I am on my second headlight switch in three years. EZ to change out, but not happy with the short life of ALL the switches in my truck.
