Harmonic Balancer Puller for 1997 Express Van--What is the Correct Puller?

Need information on where to obtain the correct Harmonic Balancer puller for a 6.5 TD engine in a 1997 Express Van. Also, the procedure for removal and reinstallation. will the balancer slide over the bolt if the bolt and washer are removed and the bolt reinstalled. Thanks!

You'll need one of those run of the mill harmonic balancer pullers that work with gassers (have a birds foot appearance). You'll only need to use two the bolt holes on the balancer that held on the crank pulley (looks like a second balancer). Maker sure that the puller has the pointed tip on it to not bugger up the thread in the crankshaft.

If for any reason you can't find a "balancer puller", a steering wheel puller will work, since you use the 2 opposed slots. I've used both, for both jobs, depending on which puller is closer to me at the time. Both share the same "bucket o' bolts".
