Auto identification

Can anyone advise how I can confirm if my auto is a 4L60E or a 4L80E.

Diesel = 4L80E

You can also check your RPO codes, on the sticker in the glove box, or where ever it may be on the RHD. The RPO for the 4L80E is MT1.

Checked out the sticker in the glove box but unfortunately it was unreadible.
Managed to get a number off the ID plate on the side of the auto and also a casting number, don't know if this can help though.
Any ideas out there?

4l80E should be indicated by the letter "P" on the top right hand corner of the ID tag.
