Selectro Hub Removal?

I have Selectro manual hubs on my '82 K20 6.2. How do you remove this type of hub to check wheel bearings? All I'm able to detect visually is removal of the cap.

There should be a snap ring or circlip under the cap. Once that's removed, the hub should slide off.

A set of Selectro's I had on a K5 had a flat spring system for retaining the innards. If there is no circlip, look for a lip or start point on the 'flat spring', much like a roll of tape. Pop a small screwdriver under it and run the tool round and round under it until the whole thing falls out.

Yes it confused me too when I first found it.
