I've been using Lube Gard along with my trans flushes for quite some time, didn't know GM had their name attached to it, but it has been a part of the factory fill for quite some time. Supposedly it has the additives needed by ATF to replace what was once supplied by the sperm whale, which can no longer be hunted. You can always find it at Napa, as well as online trans sites such as www.bulkpart.com too.
