Leaking Fuel

At the advisment of somthing i read i checked my fuel filter when i changed my oil today and i went to stick it back in and now it wont seal right and when i run the engine it leaks fuel out from around the edges.

This is on a 1994 chevy 3500

You must have dislodged the rubber ring and the metal support ring on the filter.
You are better off at this time to just replace the filter with a new one being careful upon reinstalling it. The old filter can seal can be reinstalled but it takes a little patience.

Also, the filter will only go in one way. One tab is wider than the rest.
