Okay this is a dumb question, is there a normal valve adjustment interval for the Duramax??? I have 70K on the my 2003 2500HD Chevy.

Thanks for the quick reply, this is my first diesel truck and I like to take care of it myself. I must say it's been a joy to drive the last three years, just does everything right.

I agree with DmaxMavrick, no scheduled time to do so, but anytime the engine is opened up (injectors etc) it only takes a few minutes to do. I dont normally find a bunch of wear, I recently did an engine with 454,000 miles on it and found the lash was still pretty tight to spec.
