I've read all your discussion on timing base set up.Truthfuly I wasn't sure if I was up side down, right side up, when i got throught it. Any ways my question is.
were should it be before or after TDC. i know that the Gear drive is set up for 5-6 advance. If I recall, so that mean i should retard the pump? Or put it straight up?
I have MT2500 snap on scanner.

Not as big of a deal on the electronic engines.

Try moving the pump more towards the passenger's side.

If you end up setting an offset error code, then it's too far out of range. Since you have the scan tool you'll be able to at least see the offset, and maybe initiate a learn to get the timing to learn the pump position.

Don't move the pump and stop the TDCO learn at -1.95.
