Since the fuel prices have increased I've been seeing more and more of my favorite ol pickups running around.

For awhile I didn't see an ol 6.2 running around town (besides the ones I'm driving).

I always pay attention to the classic body style GM's looking for the typical 6.2 Dual Exhaust system and the emblems on the fenders, tailgate, or hood ornament.

I think my current high spotting was 3 in one day. Two on the same street within minutes, heading opposit directions (heard em rattling down the road while entering the store).

Just found this interesting, what do you think?

Keep em going!

As sad as it is I have been seeing just the opposite around my neck of the woods :( Diesel is in some cases is 45 cents more per gallon than premium gasoline. Today (8-17) most places are charging $3.60 a gallon, and my B100 buddies for some reason went out of buisiness. It's not gonna get me down though even with the ever increasing fuel prices my 6.5's still cheaper to drive than a 454 or V10

Seems like I'm seeing more diesels here in NJ. Today's cost for diesel is about $2.85/gallon, which is still less expensive than gas.

My neighbor is a transmission specialist and often test-drives cars and trucks. The other day he was driving a Volkswagon ("Golf" I think). He said to me: "Sounds like a diesel ... doesn't it" ... with its small pop-knocking engine. I said "yes," thinking it was a gas motor. He thought it was a gasser too!!! Later in the day, with amazement, he said: You know that Golf I was driving today "It's a Diesel." He was just as surpised as I.

He also said that one of the other mechanics in the shop just bought a new pick-up with a Cummins diesel.

Starting to see more old Mercedes' diesels too!!!

$2.85  Lucky you ! Now I can see why the diesels are coming out of the wood work. I haven't seen $2.85 for longer than I dare mention

Seeing a lot of TDI Volkswagens here...including mine. Always 50mpg, all the time, every time, AC on or off, interstate or highway, 75 or 85mph. I'm lovin' it. My old truck doesn't get much drive time anymore, it's just so much cheaper to drive the VW...800 miles on a tank...that's over 2 weeks commuting for me.
Look up the old VW and Mercedes diesel cars on eBay and see how much they are selling for these days....
Diesel $2.85 in Franklin,Tennessee when I filled up tonight.
