injector line size

I'm looking to buy a tiny-tach for the truck I purchased over the weekend, unfortunantly they sell transducers for 6mm, 7mm, and 1/4" injector lines. I don't trust my measuring tools to be accurate in this range :) can anyone tell me what size the injector lines are on a 1986 blazer (military version, I'm told it has the J series engine)

What are you using for a measureing device?

A caliper would probably be the easiest

6mm is ~.236"
7mm is ~.276"

1/4" is right in the middle...

The injection lines are pretty much the same OD throughout all the 6.2's and 6.5's I would guess. I might measure one this evening to compare.

They're 1/4". Make sure the area you place it is nice and clean and free of rust, dirt, grease, etc.
