injection pump compatibility

Is a 94 5068 heavy duty pump compatible with a newer engine ? I would be taking my pump off my 94 and putting it on a newer engine and then putting the newer engine in my truck. Both are F engines without egr's. My truck also has a manual transmission.

It's more of a compatibility concern with the computer rather than the engine itself.

So, with another engine, you'll basically swap everything over from your old engine to the new.
