Truck has been sitting for maybe 3 weeks, and the Batt's ( 1 year old) are dead. Early last year I installed the CAD upgrade, and ever since, the 4WD light would blink - go steady and blink. I read that there could be a current draining problem if things weren't hooked up correctly - but the CAD goes in and out 'immdediately' , so those wiring is "good" ( it works). The new 3rd wire I connected to the transfer case harness, and it "seems' to be correct as it WILL come out of 4WD.
BUT - I have a current drainning problem somewhere. Can anyone give me any solid clues as to what to look for?
Meanwhile, I'm jerking the batt's and taking them back to "the place that shall be un-named " :rolleyes: ... for replacements. Wonder if "that" place carries Optimas.
