Another wonderful question for you 6.2 guys I'm getting ready to rebuild mine, and I was wanting to know how much it weighed so I know what size of engine stand to get.

They weigh about 900lbs. I'd get at least a 1500lb stand, I own two 2000lb stands, I like a big safety margin. The stuff built in china now days ain't quite up to the rating written on it. I still have all my toes!

John's right. Go with a large safety margin. A 2000 pounder will do the job. Those "MIC"s will give you gray hair....and prosthetics.
