Rebuild injectors or get new?

All indications led to bad injectors on my new to me 93' 6.5TD. As I see it I have three options: 1)Rebuild my injectors, 2)Buy new stock replacement or 3)Buy performance replacements.

The cost to rebuild 8 injectors is $339 and the cost of performance Delphi injectors is $525 ... believe it or not the stock replacements are closer to $600 here.

Would it really be worth the extra $180 for performance injectors. I have two sets, a set of 94' injectors that need rebuilding loose and the set of 93's currently in the truck ... any major differences between the two?

Check ebay. I had located a guy that was selling brand new sets of stock injectors for a 6.5 turbo for around 180.That was the cheapest I found.He had a business, and he seemed to sell a lot of stuff on ebay.

We opted to go with rebuilt injectors in our '94 Sub and received a mixed batch of 972 and 973 injectors (originals were all 973). Is it ok to mix and match these?

Also, we've seen a lot of ads for Bosch marine injectors, but given the fragile bottom end of the 6.5 and the age of the truck (160K and 12 years), it seems best to go with the stock injectors. What no one has discussed, though is what effect would the higher flow injectors have on a stock PMD -would it kick codes and on mileage -does it go down?

Any thoughts/experience on the above is appreciated.

They are a full service pump and injector shop.
I had a DB2 rebuilt as well as a set of nozzles for $670
The pump shop is called DFIS ( Diesel fuel injection service)

I am not sure about the Nozzle numbers but the high flow units can only deliver what the pump is set to give. If the computer is not chipped to give more fuel the nozzle is going to do nothing more than deliver what is sent to it.

Watch out when buying injectors off of ebay.There is one vendor who sells new injectors without core charge.The injectors come from China,and will not fit all GM heads.The same vendor will not give refunds when you find out they are selling china junk.Unfortanatly i found out the hard way.Also this vendor is in Calgary Canada.

Have 90K on JK high flow.See where theres no need to get them replaced as to date.

I avoided the whole problem and bought new direct from GM they were fairly cheap because I get a 30% discount on some GM parts
